What You Can Do With Cookies Gift Basket

I know how to make an especially lovely cookie gift basket that transforms the term cookies into an impressive creation.

I got this idea for the cookies gift basket from my good friend, and because I loved it so much I decided to share it with you.

You can make this cookies gift basket in different variations but the idea always remains the same.

The materials are:

*A cake dish.

*A smaller dish, preferably of a special shape such as: a heart, circle, star, and so forth.

*Small, thin wooden skewers.

*Aluminum foil.

*Cellophane paper.

*A colorful ribbon.

*A cake recipe.

*2 recipes for cookies or dough in 2 colors (to vary).

Preparation:

*I like to begin the cookies gift basket with the preparation of the main cakes, one of them will be big and the other I will make in the small dish.

While baking the cake, I will begin preparation of the cookie dough.

*I cut the wooden skewers in different heights and wrap each one of them well with aluminum foil (I leave the bottom third part exposed).

*I flatten the cookie dough, create a shape and carefully poke the sticks through it. It is important not to attach too much and to leave the bottom third (the sharp end) empty.

*After I have taken the cakes out of the oven, I put the cookie skewers into the oven for baking.

*After the cookies cool off, you can take them off the dish and arrange the cookies gift basket.

Arranging the components of the basket:

*Place the big cake (the base) on a tray slightly larger than the cake.

Place the small cake in the center of the big cake and spread cream on both of them.

*Decorate the whole thing. You can use candies, whipped cream, marzipan shapes, or any other edible treat.

*Stick the cookie skewers into the small cake in the center and using frosting, draw a ribbon shape around them.

*Insert this sweet celebration into a box with no cover, wrap it with cellophane paper, and tie a ribbon around it.
